A distinctive pairing of two handcrafted Sicilian Moor Heads, made in Caltagirone, Sicily.
Two Kings come together in contrasting black and rich red, creating a bold interpretation of the traditional Teste di Moro pair. The dramatic color combination highlights their ornate crowns, expressive profiles, and intricate sculptural details.
Traditionally displayed in pairs throughout Sicily, Moor Heads are rooted in a centuries-old legend and have become enduring symbols associated with passion, protection, prosperity, and abundance.
The Two Kings offers a contemporary take on that tradition — a celebration of partnership, individuality, and love in its many forms.
Each King is handcrafted and hand-finished by Sicilian artisans using traditional ceramic techniques. Subtle variations in glaze, shape, and detailing are part of the beauty of handmade ceramics and make every piece unique.
